Yoga Session Brisbane

Our new studio is now open at 16 Queensport Rd South in Murarrie, Brisbane! We offer regular weekly vinyasa and kundalini inspired yoga and meditation classes, personalised one on one healing sessions, monthly full moon yoga and crystal bowls events, day retreats and short courses. We also create handmade products using essential oils and crystals to help you connect with your inner self. Our level-two certified meditation teacher and reiki practitioner, Jane Toohey, will tailor every session to you, drawing upon different breathing techniques, meditation and mindfulness activities suitable for all levels.

YOGA AT OUR MURARRIE STUDIO

In our beautiful yoga studio we offer regular weekly classes of all styles including Vinyasa, Slow Flow and Kundalini inspired yoga and meditation classes. We tailor every session to our students, drawing upon different breathing techniques, yoga postures and mindfulness activities to connect mind and body. We also have an outside yoga deck to practice in the morning sunlight and evening moonlight when the weather warms up.

CORPORATE AND PRIVATE SESSIONS

We offer corporate yoga for businesses and private sessions for individuals or couples. Yoga and meditation in the workplace is a great way to get your body moving, especially if you sit at a desk all day. We also offer personalised therapeutic yoga sessions and meditation classes that are matched to specific areas or aliments that you want to focus on, embracing any physical, mental or dietary issues.

MEDITATION

Meditation and mindfulness switch the nervous system over to a calmer state. We become less affected by stress and more in control of our emotions. Just 10 mins of meditation each day will change your life and give you access to a generally happier state. Anyone suffering from stress or anxiety will benefit greatly from meditation, which has been scientifically proven to have a positive impact on the brain.

CRYSTAL SINGING BOWLS

Not only are crystal singing bowls beautiful to look at and listen to, but they are used in many different applications for sound healing and meditation. Sound baths provide many benefits including reducing stress and anxiety, relieving physical pain, improving mental and emotional clarity and balancing your chakras. We hold a sound bath session every Thursday.

WELLNESS EVENTS BRISBANE

Every month we hold a full moon healing event involving yoga and crystal bowls. We can use this energy to see what is no longer serving our intentions and to set new intentions for the month ahead. Crystal singing bowls create healing through sound, and cleansing through their crystaland clear the space to intensify meditation. These Full Moon evenings are completed with a cup of beautiful chai and some healthy treats. They run for 2 hours.

PRIVATE RETREATS

We offer Sacred Circle Retreats, Young Men’s Retreats and Yoga and Meditation Practice Retreats throughout the year. These retreats encourage us to tune into our intuition, to attend to that which is pulsing softly within us, under all the noise or numbness. Immerse yourself in moments of stillness, walking through the rainforest, building with your hands, and camping under the stars. Beautifully catered food cooked on an open fire is also included. Past retreats have been held at Mt Burrell, New South Wales.

OUR TEACHER

Jane Toohey is a Certified Meditation Teacher, Yoga Teacher, Kids and Family trained Yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner.

Jane has been dedicated to her own practice of yoga for the last 15 years. From deep relaxation and stretching to more active vinyasa flow, Jane’s classes combine a mix of beginner and intermediate poses and flow with a healthy balance of prana and meditation. See more…

With many years of experience, your class will be tailored to your needs and can cover regular vinyasa flow style classes, to restorative and yin. We also offer meditation classes in Brisbane, Murrarie, Tingalpa, and Morningside. If you are a beginner and not ready to practice in a studio, a personalised sequence may give you the confidence you need.
