Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices which are originated in ancient India. The fusion of mind, body and spirit is what offers the greatest healing and joy.

The yoga sessions we teach is a Vinyasa Flow. The word “vinyasa” can be translated as “arranging something in a special way,” like yoga poses or asanas. In vinyasa yoga classes, we coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. We also teach breathing techniques, meditation and mindfulness classes. Suitable for all levels.

CORPORATE YOGA

Yoga in the workplace is a great way to get your body moving, especially if you sit at a desk all day. We come to your place of work and can teach a class for any number of people. Within the flow of the class, we explore intelligent alignment of asanas and encourage you to build strength, discover freedom and feel rejuvenated and more alive.

Meditation is proven to improve concentration and productivity. We can incorporate meditation into the yoga class or teach it as a separate session.

PRIVATE SESSIONS FOR INDIVIDUALS OR COUPLES

A personalsied therapeutic yoga session, matched to specific areas or aliments you want to focus on, embracing any physical or dietary issues. You will learn to synchronise movement with your breath, adapt asanas (postures) to your own body type and go deeper in your body & mind. In a private session we have the time to focus on your personal practice, your alignment in poses and your ability to calm your mind.

Within the flow of the class, we explore intelligent alignment of asanas and encourage you to build strength, discover freedom and feel rejuvenated and more alive.

MEDITATION

Meditation and mindfulness switches the nervous system over to a calmer state. We become less affected by stress and more in control of our emotions. Just 10 mins of meditation each day will change your life and give you access to a generally happier state.

Anyone suffering from stress or anxiety will benefit greatly from meditation, which has been scientifically proven to have a positive impact on the brain regulating the production of the stress hormone.

KIDS YOGA FOR CHILDCARE CENTRES & SCHOOLS

We teach yoga for kids, at home or at childcare centres, in a fun, age-appropriate class designed for children aged 3 to 6.

The classes are fantastic for flexibility and strength, learning relaxation skills, posture, concentration, coordination, body awareness, self-confidence, self-esteem and establishing excellent physical and mental health. Classes include yoga games and partnering activities,and are taught by a fully certified Yoga Teacher specialising in Kids & Family Yoga.

REIKI

Reiki is a traditional Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing and balancing of energies in the body. It is administered by “laying on hands” and works with the “life force energy” that flows through us all.

Reiki can be used to support mental clarity and spiritual well-being and even to heal physical and mental trauma. In Japanese, the word “rei” refers to a higher intelligence that permeates all living and nonliving entities and guides the inherent functioning of the universe.

FAMILY YOGA

A beautiful way to learn and share yoga with your family, classes can include partner work and one on ones. We come to your home or any other chosen location.

Suitable for people at any level of fitness or flexibility, our family yoga classes are fun, joyful and inclusive, with individual family members are encouraged to participate according to their ability and different body types.

OUR TEACHER

Jane Toohey is a Certified Meditiaion teacher, Yoga Teacher, Kids and Family trained Yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner.

Jane has been dedicated to her own practice of yoga for the last 15 years. From deep relaxation and stretching, through to a more active vinyasa flow. Jane’s classes combine a mix of beginner and intermediate poses and flows with a healthy balance of prana and meditation.
