Haven Yoga and Meditation explain the ins and outs of Access Bars® and its healing applications.
With its sudden spike in popularity over the last decade, you may be wondering what Access Bars® is. In short, Access Bars® is a form of energy healing, similar to Reiki, that can help people with a number of mental issues. However, for a more in-depth look at how this practice functions, keep reading.
What is Access Bars®?
Invented in 1990, Access Bars® is an energy healing approach that works by activating 32 points situated around your head, referred to as The Bars®. Each of these points stores electromagnetic energy that is connected to your feelings, thoughts, or beliefs. By activating them, this energy is dispelled, allowing you to get rid of unwanted thoughts or feelings.
What happens in a Typical Access Bars® Session?
Also called “having your Bars run,” the specific steps undertaken in Access Bars® session differs from practitioner to practitioner. However, there are some consistent activities that will happen during an Access Bars® session. Firstly, the participant will be asked to lie down, either on a chair or a table. After this, the practitioner will lightly touch the Bars®, allowing unwanted energy to dissipate from them. This process typically goes on for about 45 to 90 minutes.
Who Can Benefit from an Access Bars® session?
This practice can benefit basically everyone. However, if you are an anxious person, a bad sleeper, or someone who struggles to let go of the past, Access Bars® is particularly beneficial for you. If you’re unsure if Access Bars® is an appropriate option for your ailment, contact Haven Yoga.
What are the Health Benefits of Access Bars®?
Through the deletion of undesirable thought patterns and emotions, Access Bars can benefit people in several ways. These include reducing stress, improving sleep, increasing focus, and promoting healing.
How Effective is Access Bars®?
Because Access Bars® is a relatively new practice, research into its effectiveness is still emerging. What has been found is promising, however. For instance, a 2017 study by Dr. Terrie Hope showed that performing Access Bars® reduced the symptoms of anxiety in participants by 84%*. As more studies like this continue to surface, the effectiveness of Access Bars® is becoming more concrete.
Who Can Perform Access Bars®?
Anyone with a certificate in Access Bars® can perform this service. The certificate is earned by taking three classes with three different practitioners, then by paying an application fee and submitting a practitioner’s signature.
